Who had daily troubles in the 1920's?.... Every man.

1920's Economy

From this economy, food was suprisingly cheap and if you don't believe me, take a look.

This was where the Stock Market was tracked and in the 1920's, one person would usually write the stock changes on a black board.

The Stock Market Crash happened on October 24, 1929 and was better known as "Black Tuesday".  The crash contributed later to the Great Depression in the 1930's

This photo shows the New York Stock Exchange.  People would come in and check on the stock market and buy stocks just like today's day and age.  But back in the 1920's, one person would write the changes on a black board. The Stock Market Crash happened on October 29, 1929 and was the main focus for starting the Great Depression.  As you can see, the market was very prosperous and all of a sudden it "crashed".  There is no clear cut way the Crash happened but it was the most horrible crash in American history

The crash was so big, it made headlines across the country to every newspaper such as this one. The Stock Market Crash of 1929 was better known as Black Tuesday due to the fact it was a very grim scene to every American at the time

It even led to thousands of people asking for handouts from the government since it led to record breaking unemployment numbers.
